Small & easy to controll
Camera
First of all, let’s start by discussing the First Person View. H29G includes its own 2MP camera capable of recording in 720p resolution and display FPV video in the monitor at the same time. Camera video is good quality, much better than some other same-price FPV drones, but it does have some occasional low ‘jello-effect’, nothing to worry about however. FPV video is also good quality and has practically no delay (depending on the area where you are flying in and obstacles it may face to transmission). Most low-cost FPV drones use pilot’s Android or iOS has a monitor for live video. But not H29G, JJRC has included a built-in 4.3” FPV screen into the 2.4 GHz remote controller. Therefore, a complete real-time video transmission drone package. Live video transmits in 5.8 GHz frequency and has almost no latency, so pilot is capable of actually flying FPV without looking at the drone only at the live video. Screen also displays drone’s real-time battery and it signals when drone is recording video or not.

Battery and safety functions
Talking about battery, JJRC H29G has a great safe function, when the drone is running low on battery, instead of just dropping, H29G gradually loses altitude and lands when battery hits 0%. This is very useful to avoid hard crashes and hits due to low power. H29G uses a 3.7V 300mAh lipo battery but it is also compatible with the 450mAh. It has a flight time of 6 to 8 minutes, depending on the type of battery and the camera and FPV usage. Obviously, recording aerial video and using FPV at the same time will always decrease battery time. For “normal” flights where there is no need to record video or fly FPV, H29G flight time will be bigger. On the other hand, H29G is amazingly simple and quick to charge. It can be charged via USB (just plug it to your computer) and only takes about 40 minutes to charge. Due to its small size and short charging time, H29G is a great drone to take for a holiday. The remote controller also has its own battery, most controllers use regular batteries, but H29G uses its own 3.7V 500mah or 1000mAh LiPo battery.

Features
JJRC always takes features into consideration, usually including a useful set of features on every drone it produces. H29G is no exception. Besides the already common LED lights and 360º stunt, this affordable and fun drone also features Headless Mode (for easier orientation despite where drone’s nose is pointing at) and One-Key Return (drone returns to pilot). The usual set of features needed in every Toy Grade drone in 2016. Headless Mode will help beginners control the quadcopter (although if you truly want to learn how to control a drone it is advised to also learn non-headless mode).
